Background

Our works are motivated from the notion that single cell analysis approach will give a significant impact to the understanding of the biology field.

Analyzing individual cells allows researchers to detect minute differences between individual cells. The ability to recognize such differences could be essential to understanding diseases such as cancer or diabetes. Current  techniques in single cell analysis have done a tremendous job.

Nevertheless, improvements or modifications of these current techniques are important in order to extend the limit of the measurements and characterizations at single cells level.

We  respond to this challenge by conducting various studies in single cell analysis such as characterizations of single cell  properties (mechanical and electrical), manipulation of single cell, cell engineering (single cell surgery) and single cell viability detection.
